This is Kikou, a magic wielding imp girl that loves to skate! Her dream is to one day be a professional  roller derby gal and compete in the Magic Skates Tournament as a member of the Boils and Toils- a rough tough group of roller skating orcs, goblins and dark elves.

Cheechu and Xana

These are two animal creations I made for a story I'm writing.
Cheechu is a wrenombat, combo of a wren and a wombat. Xana is a foxra, combo of a fox and a rabbit.

Sacre Bleu!!

So, I've been reading a book by Christopher Moore. Maya and Ze gave it to me after I finished my first year of college. It's called Sacre Bleu, and just like all of Moore's other books, it's fantastic! I've been doing my best to make it last but I'm going to be done soon :c!

Anyways, this is a drawing of two main characters. Bleu and Lucien Lessard.

Oh my! What's this? A POST!!!

Oh goodness, I haven't posted anything in a while. I WILL CHANGE THIS! I have a nice stockpile of things to put up, so no worries! :D

For now, here's a drawing I just made! 

It's a pokemon trainer! Her name is Yra and her duduo is named Dua. Yra is a lively energetic girl and Dua is a duduo with a split personality. Together they hope to become a great pokemon team! :D Wish them luck!

This is a sketch I was working on before I got lazy and stopped drawing for a bit. I was planning a Pleasantly Sour story in which I was going to introduce the Seven Heavenly Virtues. This is Wrath and her virtuous counterpart Patience. The scanner cut off parts of it : p 

The Kitten Pirates RETURN~!! I love drawing these two characters, but I just realized I don't think I ever named them... I'm thinking Lyra and Kyra. I think at some point I'm going to gather all the drawings I have of them and put them in a post, just so I can have everything together and see how they have developed overtime :3 Also, I plan on coloring this!

I like how this one came out. In my mind this is a humanoid Applejack riding what was going to be Big Macintosh but is probably going to end up being Braeburn, depends on whether I want to color the horse red or not >_>. ((BTW those are all characters from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic <3 which is a really amusing show haha)) Or it can just be a kick butt cowgirl escaping from some baddies ;D. Whichever. Also to be colored soon.

When Sea Becomes Sky

Based on Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid

"She cast one more lingering, half-fainting glance at the prince, and then threw herself from the ship into the sea, and thought her body was dissolving into foam. The sun rose above the waves, and his warm rays fell on the cold foam of the little mermaid, who did not feel as if she were dying. She saw the bright sun, and all around her floated hundreds of transparent beautiful beings; she could see through them the white sails of the ship, and the red clouds in the sky; their speech was melodious, but too ethereal to be heard by mortal ears, as they were also unseen by mortal eyes. The little mermaid perceived that she had a body like theirs, and that she continued to rise higher and higher out of the foam. 'Where am I?' asked she, and her voice sounded ethereal, as the voice of those who were with her; no earthly music could imitate it.

'Among the daughters of the air,' answered one of them. ...The little mermaid lifted her glorified eyes towards the sun, and felt them, for the first time, filling with tears"  Hans Christian Andersen

To get the full effect of this piece I suggest reading the original tale :3
And to all of you that are to lazy to do so let me explain what's going on:

In the original story, the little mermaid falls in love with a prince, saves him from drowning, gets a sea witch to give her legs in exchange for her voice and then goes of to try and make him fall in love with her.
However~!
It causes great pain for the little mermaid to walk, and dance, etc. but because the prince loves to see her dance, she dances for him every night.
Unfortunately, besides her best efforts, the Prince ends up falling in love with another girl, who he believes saved him from drowning. He marries her, and the mermaid's heart is broken and she is doomed to turn into sea foam.The mermaid's' sisters find her and give her a dagger they got from the sea witch in exchange for their long hair. If the mermaid kills the Prince and his bride she will be able to return to be a mermaid.

But the mermaid loves the prince too much and is too pure of heart. She throws the dagger into the sea and jumps in the ocean to die and become sea foam.She is however saved by the Daughters of the Air and is allowed to become one of them, and after 300 years as one she will gain an immortal soul and go to heaven.


I think original version of this story, not the sugarcoated disney version, is beautiful heartbreaking tale.
 I LOVE IT :3

And, as you can see I chose illustrate the scene in which the mermaid is turning into sea foam but is saved by the air spirits.

I highly recommend that everyone read the original story.
You won't regret it.

Pleasantly Sour

Pleasantly Sour is a new idea for a comic I had a few months back. The charaters are the embodiements of the seven sins. There is also another character who will appear often who is Death. :3 I did most of the character design back in March xD This is the first lil comic :3 More to come hopefully!

Tribute to the Greek Gods

ATHENA VS POSEIDON

 If someone asked me to pick a set of Gods or a God that I wish were absolutely and undisputably real, I would pick the Greek Gods. Now, these guys knew how to have a fun time! I have always had a fascination towards Greek Mythology. I don't really know why, but I love the Greek Gods and Goddesses, they're just so FUN! They're crazy! They're wild! They're definetly far from perfect! I just think having these guys around would make the world very exciting to say the least.

'Kay, so the drawing above was colored on photoshop. I think it came out ok, I need to start fooling around more on photoshop. There are some really cool effects and stuff I just need to practice using them.

Tomorrow, I'm going to color in the drawing of this in my notebook with pencils and I'll post it here to see which came out better.

Below is the inked version, not colored.

The drawing is of Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom and Justice, standing off against Poseidon, the great big God of the Sea! Athena and Poseidon are big rivals, always arguing and trying to out do each other. One of their famous "battles" was their contest to see which God would get the city Athens named after them. (Obviously Athena won) Each of them was to present a gift to the people of Athens and the people would name their city after the God with the best gift. Poseidon gave them a spring of seawater, and Athena gave them an olive tree. The people decided the olive tree was more useful and a better gift so the Athena became their patron Goddess (of awesomness ;) ).
